January 19: Pakistan shocked:  Sahiwal’s shameful incident

Parents, teenage daughter among 4 killed during  CTD ‘encounter’ in Sahiwal

Sahiwal Punjab: Three family members husband, wife and their teenage daughter and their friend were killed in what the Punjab police officials called a shootout with “terrorists” near Sahiwal. The couple’s minor son sustained a bullet injury while two other daughters remained safe.

January 19: (Road accident in Hub/Balochistan) A collision between two passenger buses and a petrol tanker killed 35 people in southwest Pakistan,  with many of the victims being burned to death.

January 24:  Pakistan successfully conducted training  launch of ballistic Missile ‘Nasr’

January 25:  Pakistan Television legend Roohi Bano passes away in LAHORE.

February 27: Pakistan Air Force shoots down two Indian fighter jets violating its airspace. Captured one its pilots Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman.  “Wing commander Nauman shot down SU 30 while Sqn Leader Hassan Siddique hit MIG 21.”

March

March 01:  Pakistan returns Indian pilot shot down over Kashmir in ‘peace gesture’

Wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who was shot down during the first publicly acknowledged dogfight between the countries in 48 years, was returned to India at the Wagah border crossing in Punjab on Friday evening 1st March.

March 04:  Pakistan Navy detects Indian submarine, foils intrusion into its waters.

March 12:  Pakistan Air Force (PAF) successfully test-fired indigenously developed extended range “smart weapon” from JF-17 multi-role fighter aircraft.

March 24:  Famous singer Shahnaz Begum passes away. Eminent singer Shahnaz Rahmatullah  known to most Pakistanis as Shahnaz Begum, who was loved for her flawless rendition of “Jeevay, Jeevay Pakistan” & “Sohni Dharti Allah Rakhe “  died of cardiac arrest.

April 12:  22 killed in Quetta, Chaman bomb hits on Hazaras, 58 injured in two separate IED blasts ‘Hazarganji Sabzi Mandi’ in Balochistan province.

April 12: 14 people among ‘9 Pakistan Navy personals’ offloaded from buses, shot dead in an ambush on several buses travelling between Karachi and Gwadar in the remote Ormara area of Balochistan province.

April 12:  In an impressive display of fire power, Pakistan Navy’s Fast Attack Craft (Missile) carried out Live Weapon Firing in the North Arabian Sea, said an official statement.

July 16: Famous Pakistani poet, actor and radio drama artist Himayat Ali Shair passed away due to heart attack in Canada. 

July 17:  (THE HAGUE) The International Court of Justice (ICJ) rejected India’s plea for the acquittal of Kulbhushan Jadhav, an Indian spy who was sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court.

20 July:  (A new era in tribal areas) is a life-changing day for 2.8 million people of the erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas, who, for the first time, will use their right to franchise for 16 seats in elections for the provincial assembly.

July 27:  Captain among 10 soldiers martyred in two terrorist attacks  in N. Waziristan, Balochistan.

July 30: Pakistani military plane crashes in Rawalpindi residential area near Rabi Plaza, martyred 17 and wounded 18.

August

August 14:  Pakistan celebrated 73rd Independence Day and to express solidarity with people of occupied Kashmir and entire nation in unified voice will reiterate moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmiri brethren.

August 15: Pakistan observed a ‘Black Day’ on Thursday 15 Aug. 2019,  to coincide with India’s Independence Day celebrations, in protest at New Delhi’s decision to revoke special status for Kashmir.

August 15:  India martyrs 4 Pakistani soldiers as rallies mark black day along the Line of Control (LoC).

August 16:  Brother of ‘Afghan Taliban leader’ killed in Kuchlak mosque blast

August 17: In another jolt to Pakistan, the United States slashed the aid to the cash-strapped nation by nearly USD 440 million, bringing down its commitment to just $4.1 billion.

August 18:  Balochistan National Party (BNP) leader Nawabzada Mir Amanullah Khan Zehri among four people were gunned down by unknown armed assailants near Crash Plant area of Khuzdar district.

September

September 01: Another Unexplained Death in Pakistan Police Custody. Salahuddin torture, custodial death: Two police officers put on special duty.

September 05:  Veteran Pakistani television actor, director and producer, Abid Ali passed away.

September 06:  Former Cricketer,  Leg-spinner Abdul Qadir passed away at after suffering a cardiac arrest in Lahore.

September 09:  26 dead, over 300 injured as strong earthquake rattles Azad Kashmir, other parts of Pakistan.

September 27:  Pakistan Navy is conducting Operational Exercise RIBAT-2019 to review operational preparedness of Pakistan Navy. To consolidate Fleet Fire Power, successful live missile firings were also held from surface and air platforms during the exercise, affirming the impressive war fighting capabilities of Pakistan Navy.

October

October 31: Tezgam Express Train Inferno: (Thursday – October 31, 2019) Horrifying: 74 killed, about 40 people, including women and children, were injured after gas cooking stoves exploded and set fire to a crowded Tezgam Express. The train was passing through the Rahim Yar Khan-Punjab.

November
