Ajit doval the Security Advisor of India has once said in an interview that India will disturb CPEC even if it has to take the help of Daesh. It is confirmed news that India is taking help from Daesh in Afghanistan to spoil the peace there and destabilize Pakistan in the remaining months of 2020. There was a meeting, of Daesh with other local groups, as reported in Indian Papers, to proceed with the terrorist agenda.
Daesh people could easily be recognized in Afghanistan so USA and India are hiring local people just to keep shelter in disguise of local Afghans in the time to come. Pakistan, feels great responsibility as a member of International community as well as the member of SCO and for its safety to check ISIL. So, Pakistan may take some preventive measures to check Daesh. Afghan Taliban also feeling uneasy with the presence of Daesh and they very well know the ulterior motives of Daesh. So they are taking concrete steps against Daesh Sirajuddin Haqqani-led Haqqani network is trying to raise its participation in the Islamic State of Khorasan Province after the arrest of its chief Aslam Farooqui as per report of Indian newspapers.
It is further reported in the same indian newspaper that Afghan Taliban pushing the Haqqani Network to increase its stake in so-called Islamic State of Khorasan Province (ISKP) to retain its leverage on Afghanistan irrespective of the on-going peace process and maintain plausible deniability in future terror attacks in Af-Pak region, according to an Indian senior counter-terrorism officials.
Indian Af-Pak watchers using Hybrid war tactics say that ISKP units in Kabul and the border province of Nangarhar are already under the firm control of former HQN commanders and Sirajuddin Haqqani, Deputy Leader of Taliban, who are launching attacks on Afghan capital. Besides being part of the intelligence and reconnaissance gathering network, ISKP cadres are also attacking Kabul in tandem with the HQN group. In any case, Taliban keeping watch on the activities, movements and maneuvering of ISIL or Daesh.
In spite of Taliban’s sincere and devoted efforts, Taliban need support from neighboring countries especially Pakistan and SCO as Taliban cannot handle alone the menace of Daesh which is supported by USA, NATO and India through money, arms and strategic guidance.
Daesh’s ultimate aim was against Russia and now may be the CPEC be the first target and then Russia as for the time being USA considers that Russia is only match of USA as a military Power but with recent development in China Sea and elsewhere USA considering China as Military Power and enemy number one instead of Russia as it considered earlier from the beginning.
No matter, if America considers China or Russia as its number one enemy in any case it considers both the enemy and Daesh is one of the tools it will use against both together with Pakistan. SCO countries should and must help Pakistan being the front line state against the common enemy. Pakistan is doing its best fighting against DAESH in Pakistan, trying to cut its roots and trying to check in Afghanistan but other countries which are sure to be affected later or sooner should come to rescue Pakistan.
Daesh is a common enemy of all countries of the region and it is the responsibility of all the countries of the world and SCO more to support Pakistan to contain Daesh to spread in other countries of the region.
