India is doing everything in its power to establish its dominance in the region. The truth of the matter is that Indian reality in terms of the internal political situation and the rise of Rashteria Sewak Sung (RSS) extremism combined with their economic situation does not in any way support their vision of regional and in time global dominance. Rationally speaking India is pursuing a fool’s dream as the ground realities state otherwise.

All India has done is start a massive weapons race in the continent. Their war-mongering and bullying behavior has cost them key allies and has in turn strengthened the position of India’s rivals. India has bit off more than it can chew by seeking direct conflicts with Pakistan and China. India had not anticipated the military capability and readiness of Pakistan, as a result February 27, 2019, was a day of humiliation for them.

In Ladakh, embarrassment by the hands of China has completely laid bare the truth of Indian Military capabilities as compared to its rivals. Pakistan’s patience with India is constantly being tested but as a responsible country, our response is calculated and only aimed at maintaining regional power balance. This is becoming increasingly difficult for Pakistan with India’s weapons build-up particularly when it comes to missile arsenal. India is relying on a fabricated media campaign whereby it seeks to justify its mad warmongering claims and its weapons buildup.

The problem with this plan is that their media campaign of lies is very crude and its credibility is being challenged everywhere. Despite this, the world turns a blind eye to the dangerous arms race in Asia, fueled by the Indian extremist mindset.  In January 2020 India conducted 2 tests of K-4 SLBM and later in just 35 days spread over September 2020 and October 2020 it conducted 10 missile tests, namely:

  • Flight test of Hypersonic Technology Demonstration Vehicle (HSTDV), flying at Mach 6
  • Flight test of ABHYAS – High-speed Expendable Aerial Target (HEAT)
  • 2 tests of laser-guided anti-tank guided missile
  • Nuclear capable surface-to-surface Prithvi-II with a strike range of 350 km
  • 2 tests of BrahMos supersonic cruise missile
  • nuclear-capable Shaurya missile with a strike range of 800 km
  • Supersonic missile-assisted release of lightweight anti-submarine torpedo called SMART
  • Anti-radiation missile ‘Rudram-1’

These missile tests are a threat for countries spread over three continents of Asia, Europe, and Africa based on the strike ranges of the missiles. These un-provoked actions of India are creating a growing feeling of insecurity within the region, as India is building on false accusations and claims to justify its actions.

Such missile tests create a great power imbalance in the region and therefore Pakistan and other regional countries feel the need to balance the equation of power with similar or somewhat superior missile tests. This arms race has been accelerating for quite some time now and it quickly moving towards a decisive end. The patience of the stakeholders is growing thin as the lies backed irrational war mongering is raising frustration levels.

The time is at hand when this situation will have to be defused with a decisive victory.  As the power game requires that a dispute of power be settled with bloodshed through a war and the stronger among the opponents emerges as the victor setting the new ground rules. Pakistan understands the devastation and the loss of precious human lives that comes with such a conflict which is why it is exercising restraint, however, if a conflict is thrust upon us then the consequences of an armed conflict between two nuclear powers will be felt by the entire world.
