Islam brings the message of peace for the entire humanity by providing a complete code of life which is perfect as it is law laid down by the creator of the entire universe ALLAH (SWT). For the believers (Muslims), Allah’s command should be supreme and there should be no worldly rationale stopping them from obeying ALLAH’s orders. Muslims are commanded to have faith in the fact that this world operates in accordance with ALLAH’s plan and the end result will be that which is the will of ALLAH (SWT). ALLAH (SWT) clearly commands the Muslims to preach the message of Islam and to spread it to all corners of the world. He commands the believers to remain steadfast and to follow the right path regardless of the consequences.
ALLAH (SWT) clearly commands the Muslims to not fear the power of the enemies of Islam for they may seem powerful in this world but that is an illusion, for the real power is of ALLAH (SWT) which is only for those who remain steadfast and follow the teachings of Islam. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) lead the three hundred and thirteen ill-equipped mujahedeen against a vast heavily equipped army of Quraish in the battle of Badr.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did not fear the numbers or the strength of the non-believers for he knew that the strength is with ALLAH (SWT) for HE has power over everything and is bound by no worldly rationale. Therefore, our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed to ALLAH (SWT) for a victory and ALLAH (SWT) granted it.
We Muslims are told that the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the best example for us and that we should strive to follow his example to the best of our abilities. Two fundamental lessons can be drawn be from the battle of Badr; first that Muslims should not tremble in the face of the non-believers for they are deluded and their power is a mere illusion and second that victory and the strength to defeat evil is in the hands of ALLAH, not in numbers or weapons that one may yield. For all those who cover behind rationality of this world claiming that times have changed should learn from the example of Afghani Taliban. They have brought a super power to its knees. The Afghani Taliban is a mere militant group taking on the might of the world’s most powerful nations. They declared Jihad and fought against tyranny of the invaders in accordance with the commands of ALLAH (SWT) and the result is that they have succeeded in bringing USA and its allies to their knees.
The terms of the peace agreement clearly state that all that happens in Afghanistan will be in accordance with Islam and the foreign invaders will leave Afghanistan within 14 months of this deal. It is clear to all Believers that this only happened for ALLAH willed it. Afghani Taliban did not possess any weapons of mass destruction, they have no atomic weapons and yet they won. It’s high time that the Muslims of the world (especially Pakistan) should open their eyes and fear ALLAH (SWT) and cease to tremble in fear from the enemies of Islam. They must understand that ALLAH (SWT) is the only omnipotent, all powerful being and HE supports those who remain steadfast in the face of persecution and who are willing to sacrifice everything for the right cause. Those who are deluded and rely on the weapons for victory, despite being Muslims, should fear ALLAH for it is arrogance and can amount to Shirk. Tanks, Heavy artillery, fighter jets, or even atomic weapons cannot grant victory to Muslims in fact this arrogance and folly would invoke the wrath of ALLAH.
Also, Muslims should also have faith in the fact that weapons of mass destruction of the enemy cannot destroy Muslims provided that the believers follow the right path as preached by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It is time for the Muslims of the world to rise against the tyranny of the enemies of Islam and not indulge themselves in petty fears of the economy and worldly pleasures, for ALLAH (SWT) has power over everything.
